Pink and her husband Carey Hart have broken up after 20 years of marriage, according to sources for People on Thursday. A rep for the singer had no comment when approached by the outlet, and a rep for Carey did not respond.
They share two kids, daughter Willow Sage, 14, and son Jameson Moon, 9. So, this is no doubt a difficult change for them all.
The couple first met in 2001 at the Summer X Games, and they dated on and off until the racer got down on one knee in ’05. They tied the knot in January 2006. However, just two years later, they called things off for the first time. They miraculously stayed amicable during the split, and Carey even appeared in her So What music video, which was inspired by their divorce.

By the spring of 2009, they announced they had reconciled and called off their split. In 2021, Pink revealed they both did individual therapy as well as couples counseling to work through relationship challenges. She told People at the time:
“I think it’s an impossible expectation for you to think that you’re going to evolve at exactly the same pace as another person in exactly the same direction. So it takes work to redefine what’s important. I don’t want to break up my family. That’s been my main goal, since I had a broken family. Sometimes you have to let it go. You can’t die on every mountain.”
In 2023, she doubled down, telling the outlet that they’d “stayed together so long because we can live completely separately and then be together,” adding:
“We don’t need each other. We choose each other.”
They’ve certainly faced their ups and downs over the years.
So is that what happened now? Did they just grow apart? Or what else changed? We hope nothing scandalous happened! And fingers crossed, they’ll be able to remain amicable for their kiddos.
