Riley Keough is still coming to terms with the devastating loss of her brother, Benjamin Keough.
As we reported, the son of Lisa Marie Presley and only grandson of late music icon Elvis Presley passed away on Sunday, July 12 in Calabasas, California at the age of 27, leaving fans, family, and loved ones completely devastated. It was determined through an autopsy that the young man reportedly suffered an “intraoral shotgun wound,” and his manner of death has been ruled as suicide.
All week, touching and memorable tributes have come pouring in for him and the latest comes from his 31-year-old older sister who is understandably grappling with grief right now.

On Saturday morning, Riley posted a heartbreaking message dedicated to her baby brother, along with photos of the two together throughout the years. Acknowledging the “giant hole” his passing has left in her heart, she wrote (below):
“Mornings are the hardest. I forget you’re gone. I can’t cry because of the fear that I will never stop. A pain that’s new to me. You. There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world. I hope you give me strength to endure the giant hole you’ve left in my heart. I hope you give me the strength to eat. I hope you’re cradled in love. I hope you feel my love. I hope you feel god. You are god. I can’t believe you’ve left me. Not you sweet Ben Ben. Anyone but you. I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again.”
Wow. We cannot imagine the pain she must be going through right now…

This heartfelt post comes shortly after the sibling’s mother Lisa issued a statement on Ben’s tragic passing via her rep Roger Widynowski, who told multiple outlets on Sunday:
“She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”
In addition to Lisa and Riley, Ben is survived by siblings Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood. Our hearts go out to them and the rest of his loved ones at this devastating time.
