Sam Levinson is giving fans an update about Euphoria season 3.
In a new interview with Elle published on Wednesday (August 23), the creator of the hit HBO show revealed what’s to come for Zendaya‘s character Rue in the forthcoming season.

“She’s the most competitive person I know, in a good way,” Sam said of the 26-year-old actress. “She’s constantly growing as an artist and always seeking a challenge. She’s never complacent.”
He went on to say that Rue would embark on an entirely new journey in season three, which will be shot as a “film noir.” Sam added that his goal is to “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.”
Fans may have to wait a while for the next season of Euphoria, as the show is currently on pause due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.
