U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell once again appeared to have some sort of health incident while in the middle of a news conference.
The 81-year-old politician made a stop in northern Kentucky on Wednesday (August 30), where he appeared to have some trouble understanding and speaking with reporters, via local news WLWT5.
He spoke at the podium for several minutes, regarding subjects like the Brent Spence Bridge project, when he appeared to have a hard time hearing reporters and took a long pause before aides eventually stepped in to help him out and repeat questions before he was led away.

“McConnell felt momentarily lightheaded and paused during his press conference today,” a spokesperson told the news outlet.
People near him eventually intervened to ask if he was okay, and he then stepped away from the podium, eventually returning some time later.
He was asked by CNN what happened and if it was related to his fall earlier this year, to which he said: “No, I’m fine,” and moved on.
Last month, the Republican senate leader was speaking at his weekly GOP leadership news conference on Capitol Hill when he stopped mid-sentence and went silent for several seconds.
