Los Angeles-based rising stars senses don’t get mad about a breakup in the newly released music video for their single “gonna make sure.” They get even.
Directed by Erik Rojas, the release opens with frontwoman Madison Taylor lying in bed after seeing a text exchange between her girlfriend and her sneaky link.
Instead of mourning the end of the relationship, she drags her ex’s unconscious body along for a band practice like none other with senses guitarist Josh Bissell and drummer Nick Sampson.

Her no-good ex is an unwilling participant in practice, propped up with a pair of sunglasses on as the band rocks out. You’ll want to make sure to watch all the way through to the end, though. There’s an unexpected conclusion to the saga!
“‘gonna make sure’ is about that period of time when you just don’t want to be the bigger person post breakup,” the group explained. “When we were planning to do the music video, we had been a fan of Erik Rojas’ work for a long time, and what we made is exactly why! We wanted to take a more ‘sarcastic’ approach while also getting the underlying feeling of the song across. We love that we could portray a more serious and moody song theme in a lighthearted and fun way.”
After coming together on Craigslist, Madison, Josh and Nick have been making a name for themselves with their plucky productions and larger-than-life, pop-rock sound. Fans will get to hear even more from them with the unveiling of their debut EP in September 2023.
