Shakira becomes part of our world in the music video for her new single “Copa Vacia.”

The 46-year-old “She Wolf” pop icon channels The Little Mermaid, becoming an enchanting sea creature who is rescued from the sea by collaborator Manuel Turizo in the video, which was released on Thursday (June 29).

At the beginning of the video, Shakira is stuck on the shore in a pile of litter.

Manuel pulls her out of the sea in a net and takes her home with him where she reclines in a fish tank. The pair later share some steamy moments in front of a waterfall.

With her pink hair and stunning tail, Shakira wows in every frame!

“You’re always busy with so many businesses,” she sings to a distant lover on the track, according to a translation supplied by Variety. “Drop your phone, use your hands with me / I know you’re hot but I’m hotter. I’ve been thirsty for you for a while, I don’t know why.”

Fans will likely recall that we saw photos of the hitmakers filming certain scenes of the music video earlier this year.

Its release comes shortly after Shakira broke 14 Guinness World Records with the release of her Bizarrap collab “Music Sessions Vol. 53.”
