Sherri Shepherd Postpones Season 2 of 'Sherri' Due to COVID Diagnosis

Sherri Shepherd is postponing her show.

The 56-year-old Sherri host announced Wednesday (August 20) that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and will halt new episodes of Season 2 as a result.

The diagnosis came just after the show restarted with its second season amid the Hollywood strikes, and she had just explained why she was proceeding with the show.

“I am absolutely heartbroken that I cannot return to host my show this week,” she wrote on Instagram.

“As soon as I get the all-clear from my doctor, I look forward to coming back strong to deliver the fun, laughter and a real good time.”
