According to the federal Bureau of Prisons records, Smallville actress Allison Mack was released from prison on Monday (July 3).

The 40-year-old was accused of recruiting women into the NXIVM cult where its leader, Keith Reniere, reportedly blackmailed women into becoming sex slaves and branded his initials into them. No further information about her release has been revealed at this time, but CNN is reporting that she’s no longer in prison.

Allison was arrested back in April of 2018 in the case, and pled guilty a year later to a count of racketeering and a count of racketeering conspiracy. She was sentenced to three years in prison back in 2021.

Reniere was sentenced to 120 years in federal prison on sex trafficking charges, among many other charges.

Allison‘s Smallville co-star Tom Welling addressed her prison sentence last year.
