Tarek El Moussa is trying to calm down a bunch of angry fans!

On Monday, the Flip Or Flop star popped up on his Instagram Stories with a very curious photo. The pic was simple, and seemingly innocent, but it VERY quickly got interpreted as shady. Take it in for yourself (below) and see if you can tell what we mean:

It didn’t take HGTV fans long to claim that the “Bittersweet Lane” reference was a not-so-subtle shot at his ex-wife Christina Hall amid her ongoing divorce from Josh Hall! Sour grapes, and all that!

But less than a day after Tarek posted the pic of the street sign, he popped back in with a follow-up! And this one clapped back HARD against social media haters who have spent the last 24 hours trying to drum up rumors of a major rift between the exes (and current co-stars)! Heather Rae El Moussa‘s hubby wrote:

“This has nothing to do with Christina. I was on a walk looking at cool houses and found the street name neat and wanted to share. Please stop sending me nasty messages. Thank you, T”

Hmmm…

Do you believe the 42-year-old reality TV star when he claims the Bittersweet Lane thing has nothing to do with Christina and Josh?!?! Or do U think he’s just trying to turn down the heat after some very purposeful shade got called out??
