And they still broke up! That says it all right there.
Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi broke up after not even half that much time after a relationship many felt was doomed from day one.
As for the latest case study we saw play out this year?
Let's just say Colton and Cassie are up against major obstacles (if you saw the recent season, you get it), and the odds aren't great.
What about for Peter Weber, the man who will hand out the roses in 2020 following a windmill-filled ride on The Bachelorette?
His prospects aren't much better, although we're guessing there will be ample opportunities to hook up inside historical structures.
