Donald Trump is yet again going after Jimmy Kimmel — and this time, it could cost him his presidency! LOLz!

Ahead of Sunday’s Kennedy Center Honors, the President gave a bitter speech comparing himself to his late-night enemy. During a ceremony at the Oval Office on Saturday, Trump shaded Kimmel’s hosting abilities. Predicting it would be the “highest-rated show” in history of the awards with himself at the helm, he continued per Deadline:

“We have never had a president hosting the awards before. This is the first. I’m sure they’ll give me great reviews, right? You know, they’ll say he was horrible. He was terrible. It was a horrible situation. No, we’ll do fine.”

The Celebrity Apprentice alum compared himself to former hosts of the event, noting he “watched some of the people that host,” adding:

“Jimmy Kimmel was horrible, and some of these people.”

And that’s when he put his presidency on the line! He declared:

“If I can’t beat out Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, then I don’t think I should be president.”

What’s the verdict, y’all?? Who did a better job hosting the award ceremony?? Donny’s putting a lot of faith in his abilities… against a professional, long-term host! Trump has spent so much time and energy trying to destroy the comedian’s career — but now he’s offering his rival a chance to do the same to him (though, obviously, things don’t exactly work that way). The ball’s in Jimmy’s court now. We bet he’ll have a big reaction to this on his show soon!
