Tony Winner J. Harrison Ghee Supports Friend James T. Lane at 'Triple Threat' Opening Night

J. Harrison Ghee made Tony history earlier this month and now they’re helping celebrate a friend’s milestone!

The 34-year-old Broadway star attended the opening night performance of James T. Lane‘s solo show Triple Threat on Monday night (June 26) at Theatre Row Theatre in New York City.

Written and performed by Lane, Triple Threat “recounts the actor’s moving, redemptive journey – from his against-all-odds entertainment rise to near death cataclysmic fall, and his extraordinary return to the top… Audiences will follow James as he escapes his traumatic adolescence in the South Philly Projects, and through sheer talent and tenacity, becomes a Broadway musical star. They will come along as the entertainer takes them through his unexpected next acts, spiraling from headliner to homeless and finally coming back to himself.”

Triple Threat is running through July 30 at Theatre Row.

Ghee became the first openly non-binary person to win the award for Best Actor in a Musical at the Tony Awards for their performance in Some Like It Hot.
