Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff regularly shares the highs and lows of parenting.
Some moments are hard, especially with three very small children.
Other moments, however, are picture-perfect memories that you will treasure forever.
Tori is hyping up husband Zach as the “best dad ever,” and has the sweet photo to prove it.
On Wednesday, July 13, Tori Roloff took to her Instagram Story to share a priceless moment.
Her 2-year-old daughter, Lilah Ray, is on her back and sound asleep in her bed.
Zach is also asleep in bed, his head on the pillow while he slumbers and faces the wall.
Even without context, this is a precious pic.
The story behind the photo makes it even sweeter, however.
“Best dad ever,” Tori captioned the photo before explaining how this nap time came to be.
“Lilah bean was upset after bedtime tonight,” Tori wrote, furnishing details.
“And daddy,” she continued, referring to Zach, “just laid down with her.”
Tori explained that Zach had gotten beside her to comfort her “and never got back up!”
Being a parent can be exhausting, especially if with three young children.
10-week-old Josiah Luke is a newborn. 5-year-old Jackson Kyle is energetic and curious.
Throw a toddler like Lilah into the mix, and you have a recipe for sleepy parents.
Zach is far from the first parent (or other caregiver) to simply fall asleep beside their child.
It’s sweeter than simply passing out on the couch or flopping face first ito your own bed.
Why? Because these parents fell asleep while comforting their kids. It’s adorable.
Tori has also recently gushed over her sons, Josiah and Jackson.
Josiah, she observed, looks so remarkably like Jackson did at the same age.
We can certainly see the resemblance between these brothers.
“I’m pretty sure I birthed the same child twice,” Tori joked.
That makes sense in more ways than one.
In addition to shared features, both Jackson and Josiah share a achondroplasia with their sister, Lilah, and with their father, Zach.
Achondroplasia is the most common form of dwarfism.
This is also true within the Roloff family.
Zach’s mother, Amy, also has achondroplasia.
Tori and Zach were both fully aware that their children would each have a chance of sharing their father’s achondroplasia.
Fortunately, Zach and Lilah and Josiah are all born into a family that knows how to accommodate their needs.
Though Tori is of average height, she is aware of societal limitations and discrimination against her kids. She will always fight for them.
Becoming a family of five, as they so recently did, can be a complicated adjustment.
“We were preparing ourselves for jealous moments,” Tori noted a couple of months ago.
“Or,” she continued, “for things to kind of go awry every once in a while.”
“But they literally haven’t,” she shared.
“They’ve both been so affectionate and just in love with Josiah,” Tori described.
“And,” she gushed at the time, “it’s been so much fun to watch.”
