Vanessa Bryant Celebrates Daughter Capri’s First Birthday With Touching Tribute About Her ‘Ko-ko Bean’ Namesake

Little Capri Bryant is officially one year old!

Vanessa Bryant celebrated her youngest daughter’s first birthday on Saturday, June 20th by uploading a beautiful photo of herself and her late husband Kobe Bryant cradling their little one when she was still a newborn.

In her caption, the proud momma of four revealed that Capri’s middle name was chosen as a nod to her father while remarking how this milestone feels so different without him and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna, who both perished in a helicopter crash earlier this year. She wrote:

“Happy 1st Birthday Capri! Mommy, Daddy, Nani, Gigi and BB love you SO much!!! God Bless you sweet princess. ❤️ Capri Kobe Bryant a.k.a. ‘Koko-Bean’ named after her dearly missed daddy, Kobe Bean Bryant ❤️We miss you SO much Gigi and Daddy.”

As we reported, Vanessa and her daughter Natalia recently decided to make their IG profiles private to help with their grieving process. It became far too painful to see photos of Kobe and Gigi on their feeds every day, so they also blocked several fan accounts dedicated to the pair.
