3 'Boy Meets World' Stars Weigh In On Ben Savage's Political Ambitions (& 1 Says They Disagreed With Him on Almost All Major Issues as Teens)

Several of Ben Savage‘s Boy Meets World co-stars weighed in on his political ambitions.

The 42-year-old actor, who starred as Cory Matthews in the popular sitcom, announced plans to run for a seat in the United States House of Representatives where he would be representing California.

After keeping quiet about the plans, Ben‘s former co-stars Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle weighed in on his decisions during an episode of their podcast Pod Meets World.

“We’ve been tagged in things, we’ve been asked, and we were contemplating what we were going to say, if we were going to say anything,” Danielle explained in the new episode, which went up in April and recapped an episode of the show where Ben‘s character ran to be class president. “And then we rolled into this episode we’re recapping.”

In the process, all three of them revealed their thoughts on Ben‘s actual political ambitions.

Three months later, the trio made some big claims about their relationship with Ben, and we decided to revisit what they thought about him running for office.
