Like him, hate him or REALLY, REALLY hate him, one must admit the following about Joe Rogan:
He holds massive sway over millions of people across the country.
As host of The Joe Rogan Experience on Spotify, this podcast personality (and, never forget, former Fear Factor star) reaches voters on both sides of the political aisle every single week.
Rogan has made controversial headlines in the recent past over his views on the COVID-19 vaccine, along with his liberal use of the N-Word.
When Joe Rogan talks, a lot of people listen.
That’s just a fact.
It therefore makes sense that plenty of observers are curious about who Rogan would vote for in a hypothetical (albeit very realistic) rematch of the 2020 Presidential Election in just over three years time:
Donald Trump or Joe Biden.
It’s gotta be Trump, right?
Appearing on a recent installment of Lex Fridman’s podcast, Rogan actually took listeners by surprise when detailing his view on the one-term Commander-In-Chief.
“The Trump era is also going to be one of the weirder times,” Rogan said.
“When people look back historically about the division in this country, he’s such a polarizing figure that so many people felt like they could abandon their own ethics and morals and principles just to attack him and anybody who supports him because he is an existential threat to democracy itself.”
Rogan added:
“I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form.
” I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once — I’ve said no, every time.
“I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”
In the past, Rogan expressed support for Bernie Sanders as the next President of the United States.
Sanders is 80 years old, while Joe Biden is 79.
Rogan sees a rather major distinction between the two, however, specifically between their mental capacity.
Asked on the aforementioned podcast whether Trump could defeat Biden in 2024, Rogan replied:
“Well, he’s running against a dead man, you know?
“I mean, Biden shakes hands with people that aren’t even there when he gets off stage. I think he’s seeing ghosts.
“You see him on Jimmy Kimmel the other day? He was just rambling…
“If he was anyone else, if he was a Republican, if that was Donald Trump doing that, every f-cking talk show would be screaming for him to be off the air.”
Elsewhere in this same interview, Rogan was asked why he invited Kanye West on as a guest, despite that rapper’s own set of controversial statements.
Why him and not Trump?
“Kanye West is an artist,” Rogan explained.
“Kanye doing well or not doing well doesn’t change the course of our country.”
