Taylor Swift isn’t the only one making millions every time she takes the stage during her Eras Tour.
The 33-year-old “Lavender Haze” pop star crashed Ticketmaster when tickets for her highly anticipated tour were made available earlier this year.
Aside from making it clear that the demand was sky-high, the service’s failure to meet demand led to a government hearing, potentially changing policy for the future.
Since hitting the road, Taylor‘s been estimated to bring in $13 million nightly based solely on ticket prices.
A new report suggests that she’s giving another component of the economy a big boost for the first time in years, too!

The Federal Reserve recently released its Beige Book, a regular publication that examines the economy, and noted that Taylor and other touring artists created a notable boost in the hotel industry in Philadelphia, Penn. when she stopped there earlier this summer.
“Despite the slowing recovery in tourism in the region overall, one contact highlighted that May was the strongest month for hotel revenue in Philadelphia since the onset of the pandemic, in large part due to an influx of guests for the Taylor Swift concerts in the city,” the report reads.
NBC News did some digging and was able to provide some solid numbers that reveal just how much of a boost Taylor‘s bringing with her. During a weekend of performances in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was credited with generating $2.6 million for downtown hotels and an additional $5.3 million for hotels nearby.
Taylor‘s Eras Tour is set to continue into 2024 with new dates added to the mix earlier this month.
