Rena Sofer is returning to General Hospital.

The 54-year-old Daytime Emmy-award winning actress is returning to the ABC series, reprising her role as Lois Cerullo after 26 years, via People.

Her return comes as ex-husband Ned (played by her real-life ex-husband Wally Kurth) deals with amnesia, and is convinced that he’s Eddie Maine, his rock-star alter ego from the ’90s.

Lois and Eddie wed in 1995, and then Lois found out that Ned was also married to Mary Beth Evans’ Katherine Bell. Lois and Eddie eventually remarried, but divorced a second time when Ned chose his family over her. She eventually left town and gave birth to their daughter, Brook Lynn, who’s now played by Amanda Setton.

Rena filmed her first scenes last week, and is expected on screen as early as October, via TVLine. She previously spent nine years on The Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn Fuller, leaving in 2022.
