Should everyone be worried about Amy Schumer‘s marriage right now? It sounds like it!
If you missed it, the 44-year-old comedian raised eyebrows this week when she suddenly wiped her entire Instagram account of all her photos, except for a new shot of her showing off her weight loss in a skintight red dress. She noted in the caption that she deleted the “old pics for no reason.”
However, speculation started that she no longer wanted everyone to see the old version of herself — the Amy before she lost weight. She later shut that down, insisting she “didn’t delete my old photos because they were pre me losing weight.” Now there’s another theory popping up…

According to Dailymail.com on Thursday, the Trainwreck actress DID have a reason to cleanse the ‘gram! She reportedly wanted to remove all traces of her husband Chris Fischer on the app… because they’re on the brink of divorce! Whoa! A close friend told the outlet:
“Amy is 100 percent getting divorced. She got skinny, she is over it.”
What a surprise… or is it? Amy possibly left a clue about her crumbling marriage on Instagram. That red dress photo she posted? If you look closer, she doesn’t have her wedding ring! Not in any of the shots!

Yep, that, along with the disappearing photos, it’s some major warning signs all over the place! And sadly, if the report is true, there is no going back for Amy. Their marriage is over for good. The pal continued:
“Chris is mostly out of the house at this point. They’ve listed two homes now, in Brooklyn and New Orleans. She deleted Chris from Instagram then deleted everything else. She’s going to file soon, but it’s over. Done.”
How sad…
Apparently, there were other hints of trouble in paradise that we all missed. Another source pointed out that Amy doesn’t talk about Chris, nor has she been spotted with him in a while. The last time they were photographed on the carpet together was for the premiere of Room To Move in June 2025. The source said:
“Amy doesn’t talk about Chris that much anymore, it’s like they are no longer close. He is never around, and she has not taken him on a red carpet for months.”
But why are they over? What happened? The second insider explained they don’t gel well anymore:
“It’s not easy because of his autism, he doesn’t even get her jokes, and being funny and making people laugh is important to her. Also, there is that classic cliche: when a woman loses weight, her personality changes. Amy has changed since losing weight, she is much lighter in her spirit, more easy going. I think she wants more out of life.”
A third source claimed the pair also mainly focus on their 6-year-old son, Gene David Fischer, rather than their marriage these days:
“Amy and Chris have been on a routine the last couple years, they have focused more on their child then their relationship and his brutal honesty being autistic is a blessing and a curse for Amy to where she has joked about it on some of her specials but it has also become a minor issue for their relationship.”
What a shame, again, if the report is true. Amy has not addressed the divorce rumors yet. However, things do not look good for their relationship after all these clues.
