More and more Americans are speaking out against ICE!
Over the weekend, another US citizen, Alex Pretti, was murdered by ICE agents in Minnesota. Alex was a 37-year-old ICU nurse who worked with critically ill veterans. His final moments were spent helping up a woman who had been shoved down by ICE, before he himself was dragged down onto the street, surrounded, and shot 10 times.
He was a lawful gun owner who had a legally concealed handgun on him, as was his second amendment right to do so. He held an iPhone in one hand and held another hand up in the air to show he wasn’t attempting harm before they started pepper spraying him and went in on him. Awful, awful, awful.

Edward Norton
Per reports, Edward Norton suggested:
“These are not normal times. We have extrajudicial assaults on Americans annd [sic] humans going on on a daily basis now and it’s not okay. We cannot act like this is not happening. What they’re doing in Minnesota with the strike needs to expand. I think we should be talking about a national general economic strike until this is over.”

Megan Stalter
Megan Stalter shared a video on Instagram:
“I have never ever been a Republican, but I have loved God and Jesus my whole entire life. If you are someone who identifies as Christian but supports ICE or the President, I want you to remember that Jesus was executed for challenging the system… You can argue the context of any scripture but you can’t argue that God doesn’t want us to love our neighbors and our neighbors are being hunted and kidnapped and attacked daily. Our government is killing people and they are lying to us. We cannot stop talking about this. We have to abolish ICE.”

Jenna Ortega
Per reports, Jenna Ortega has spoken out:
“It’s absolutely devastating and I’m horrified. I’m really encouraged by the spirit of the American people and the people who feel the need to say something, but the lack of any real resolution or reprimanding against the officers is incredibly frightening and disappointing to see from our government.”
Olivia Wilde
While at the Sundance Film Festival, Olivia Wilde told Variety as she wore an “ICE Out” pin:
“This country is hurting. I’m appalled and sickened. We can’t go on another day accepting this as our new norm. It’s outrageous. People are being murdered, and I don’t want to normalize seeing that violence — on the Internet or on film. It’s hideous. If we can do anything to support the movement to cast ICE out and delegitimize this criminal organization, then that’s what we should be doing.”

Natalie Portman
In an interview with Deadline, Natalie Portman said:
“What’s going on in our country right now is absolutely horrific with what the federal government, Trump‘s government, Kristi Noem, ICE… what they’re doing is really the worst of the worst of humanity. And then we also have the best of the best of humanity for the way people are showing up for each other and Americans coming out to support each other and protect each other and fight against injustice. I could not be prouder to be American right now, by the way the Americans are acting. And I could not be sadder to be American right now with the way the government is behaving.”

Glenn Close
Glenn Close shared a video on social media, saying:
“I have watched our democracy being systematically disemboweled and torn apart along with the institutions, which in the near past, though never perfect, have stabilized our society and supported the American people. I am outraged and sickened by what is happening under the Trump regime. The cruelty, inhumanity, and arrogance, the voracious corruption, the cowardice, the sickening hypocrisy, the blatant manipulation of facts, and now, the cold-blooded murder of American citizens.”

Josh Gad
Josh Gad took to Threads to share:
“Question. When Charlie Kirk was killed in cold blood, I immediately spoke out & condemned it because I know right from wrong. Are so many of you in a mind cult where it is impossible for you to believe your own eyes right now & just admit that what’s happening is not okay and is in fact the opposite of what these psychopaths are saying it is? Are you brainwashed, evil or dumb? Because those are the only options when you believe a disarmed ICU nurse is a terrorist that had to be shot 10 times.”
He followed-up with:
“If you think my posting about an American man defending a woman being attacked by six masked armed men and then pepper sprayed, while his legal 2A gun was removed (without him once attempting to ‘brandish’ it )and then seconds later being shot ten times in the back is a POLITICAL POST… kindly f**k yourself off my feed. This isn’t an issue of politics. It’s an issue of humanity.”
Olivia Rodrigo

Mark Ruffalo

“Cold blooded murder on an American street of a man protecting someone he loves. Don’t pretend this is okay. We have been invaded by a criminal army from within. Do not pretend this isn’t dangerous or wrong.”
Florence Pugh

Sophia Bush
One Tree Hill star and longtime activist Sophia Bush shared several Stories, adding:
“They’re making it clear. If you’re for them — for MAGA, for the grift, for the erasure of American law? You can commit a triple homicide and be invited to meet the President. But if you film them because you believe in the Constitution and in democracy? They’ll murder YOU.”
This is just a handful of the stars speaking out… Others who have spoken out include Kerry Washington, Mandy Moore, Cole Sprouse, Octavia Spencer, Dove Cameron, Simu Liu, Pedro Pascal, Rosie O’Donnell, Bobbi Althoff, Chrissy Teigen, John Stamos, and many more, including athletes and others in the spotlight.
But it’s not just celebrities. Countless every day Americans are speaking out too, and some influencers are even openly explaining why they left MAGA in the aftermath. See for yourself (below):
