More details are coming out about the sudden death of Catherine O’Hara.
As we previously reported, news broke that the legendary actress passed away at the age of 71 on Friday. She reportedly was having difficulty breathing that morning in her Los Angeles home. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department told People that they received a call at 4:48 a.m. for an “approximately 70-year-old” unnamed female at the Home Alone alum’s address, and she was transported to the hospital “in serious condition.” Catherine sadly died there hours later.

Now, we are learning more about her final moments. The Beetlejuice star’s rep confirmed to People on Friday that she died “after a brief illness.” No other details about what she exactly suffered from have been released yet.
