Hillary Clinton Defends Joe Biden Over Unwanted Kissing Accusations: ‘Get Over It’

Hillary Clinton is not happy about all the attacks against Joe Biden!

The two-time Presidential candidate and former First Lady sat down in a new interview this week with People, and in it, she expressed some serious displeasure at those who have lofted serious accusations against the former Vice President and current candidate for the White House.

As you no doubt probably recall, Biden has been accused multiple times in recent months of unwanted kissing and touching by several women who felt he became too handsy and inappropriate at events. This adds to the former VP’s reputation through the years as someone who often blurred boundaries with seemingly-inappropriate physical affection, especially towards women — and it’s a huge problem.

Still, Bill Clinton‘s wife wasn’t too enthralled with those accusations, apparently, because her comments on supporting Biden in spite of them are somewhat eye-opening. Speaking to the mag about the accusations and allegations against Biden, the former Secretary of State said (below):

“For goodness’ sake, I’m sorry, I have to jump in because I’ve heard a little bit about that. I mean, I don’t think that the Twitterverse is the American electorate, but there are lots of vocal voices that say all kinds of things. [Biden] is a thoroughly decent human being who has served our country honorably and well for decades.”

Wow!

OK…

The 71-year-old continued on after that, too, saying more about Barack Obama‘s former running mate, and adding a special “get over it” message as the surprising cherry on top (below):

“You could take any person who sticks their little head above the parapet and says, ‘I’m going to run for president,’ and find something that … a little annoying habit or other kind of behavior that people are going to pick apart and disagree with. People who are putting themselves forward, which believe me, is a really difficult process to undergo, should be judged on the totality of their lives and their service. We can pick apart anybody. I mean, that’s a great spectator sport. But this man who’s there in the Oval Office right now poses a clear and present danger to the future of the United States. So get over it. Look at the candidates, look at what they’ve accomplished, look at what they have fought for — and vote for anybody to get rid of Donald Trump.”

Get over it!

Obviously, Clinton is making a calculated push here that Biden is a thousand times better than Trump — and she’s obviously right about that — but the former VP nevertheless does have to answer to some serious unwanted touching and inappropriate kissing allegations, too! ‘Get over it’ shouldn’t be the message to those victims! Just saying!!
