The relationship between Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and baby momma Jen Harley has been nothing if not dramatic!
ICYMI, the Jersey Shore: Family Reunion star was arrested for felony domestic violence in Los Angeles on Friday morning, and was later charged with kidnapping. He was later released from jail after posting $100,000 bail. Now, his lawyer is speaking out about the alleged incident.

In a statement to Us Weekly on Saturday, lawyer Scott E. Leemon shared:
“The reporting of the alleged incident relating to Ronnie Magro yesterday is based upon pure speculation and innuendo. We are currently conducting our own investigation and will have no further comment until that has been concluded.”
Confusing wording by the attorney considering Ronnie was literally arrested… can’t make that part up! Which part of being tased by the authorities is based on speculation?
Meanwhile, the MTV personality seems to be focused on figuring out his next move, too. An insider shared (below) with the publication:
“He’s very somber. He’s trying to put himself in a place mentally where he’s going to be able to digest all of this. It’s a lot for him to take in. He feels pretty horrible, but he’s in an OK space. He’s just trying to process what just happened.”
A public information officer from the Los Angeles Police Department told the publication in a statement following the incident:
“Officers responded to a battery in progress in the 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive at around 2:40 a.m. Suspect and victim were involved in some kind of physical altercation. When officers [were] on location, the suspect was uncooperative. Officers had to use a taser so there was minor use of force that occurred.”
A child, presumably their 18-month-old daughter Ariana Sky, was present at the time of the incident, but “was not harmed,” according to authorities.
Mere hours before the alleged incident at the El Lay Airbnb, the 33-year-old spoke highly of his baby momma and their on again off again relationship, sharing:
“Honestly, even though everyone thinks we’re toxic, she really does balance me out. She really does keep me level because with her I have her and the baby, which is a family, which is what I want at the end of the day.”
Ouch!! Pretty painful to hear after the fact, right?!
He continued (below):
“The Jersey Shore thing and being single, it will always be there. And Pauly [DelVecchio] and Vinny [Guadagnino] have proved that, like, 10 years later. It’s not what I want, it’s not I want to strive for, like, I’m doing what I’m doing. I’m building a business so that I can pass something down to my kids so that they can have something that I’ve never had and I’m not doing it for me. I’m blessed that Jersey Shore has given me enough that I’m thankful and I’m happy I’m doing this because I want to give more back to my family and my kids. That’s where I’m at.”
