Details continue to emerge in the deeply unsettling case involving the woman accused of opening fire on Rihanna’s Los Angeles home — namely with brand-new police dispatch audio that sheds light on the tense moments leading up to the suspect’s arrest.
According to the new dispatch audio recording, which was first published by TMZ on Tuesday, LAPD officers appeared to track the suspect through Los Angeles shortly after the frightening incident. The woman, who was later identified by police as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, was reportedly driving a white Tesla Model 3 when officers began following her movements.

The dispatch chatter captures the unfolding situation as officers coordinate their response and keep watch on the vehicle.
After a few tense moments, the pursuit appears to come to an end in the parking lot of a nearby shopping center. In the audio, officers can be heard describing the suspect exiting the car. Thankfully, Ortiz reportedly got down on her knees very quickly as LAPD officers approached, bringing the tense situation to a close without a physical confrontation.
As we previously reported, Ortiz was booked Monday on suspicion of attempted murder after authorities say multiple gunshots were fired toward Rihanna’s residence the day before.
But from what can be heard in the dispatch recording, the arrest itself was swift, non-violent, and very controlled. Whew. You can listen to the audio in full HERE.
As we’ve also been reporting, the global superstar was inside the home at the time — and as it turns out, so too were her three young kids RZA, 3 Riot, 2, and Rocki, 5 months. Rihanna’s partner, A$AP Rocky, was not present during the incident.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported. And to that end, we continue to be glad that this wasn’t much, much worse…
