Two Walt Disney World employees were caught in a month-long child pornography special sting this week in Florida.
The operation, Guardians of Innocence IV: Fall Haul, was carried out by undercover detectives in the Computer Crimes Unit of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

In a press release, Sheriff Grady Judd stated:
“The people arrested during this operation prey on the most innocent and vulnerable among us—our children. The undercover detectives who investigate these crimes have to see things that nobody should have to see, and no child should have to experience. Each one of these arrests has removed a predator from our streets, and the internet.”
According to the release from Polk County, Donald Durr, described himself as “a pervert, but not a monster,” and was a custodial worker at Walt Disney World. A spokesperson for the company commented to CNN that Durr is currently on unpaid leave. The 52-year-old has been charged with eight counts of possession of child pornography, and one count of promoting sexual performance by a child.
A second employee, 40-year-old Brett Kinney, was a Guest Experience Manager at the theme park, and has been charged with one county of promotion of child pornography and 24 counts of possession of child pornography-enhanced. Kinney told detectives he was addicted to child pornography and had been viewing it for 22 years. Following his arrest in the sting, a Disney spokesperson shared with the outlet Kinney was no longer employed by the company.
During the arrests, detectives seized all communication devices belonging to the suspects and will complete forensic analysis searches, which could reveal additional images and/or videos depicting child pornography. If this is the case, the suspects would be charged as needed. Attempts are also being made to identify children seen in the various digital images and videos.
Among the others arrested were a 76-year-old retired assistant middle school principal, who was involved in an online chat at the time of the arrest telling someone online he wanted to see a 15-year-old wearing something sexy. He has been charged with one county of promotion of child pornography and 252 counts of enhanced possession of child pornography.
In total, the 17 men arrested range in age from 19 to 77-years-old, and face 626 charges (624 felonies, 2 misdemeanors). In addition, their total prior criminal histories amount to 114 felonies and 71 misdemeanors.
