Hmmm…

After getting hitched last year, many fans of The Big Bang Theory were scratching their heads when Kaley Cuoco shared a few months ago she and her husband Karl Cook were not living together. Today, they’re STILL not under one roof, and “love” it.

While chatting with the hosts of The View on Friday, she acknowledged previous headlines about their unconventional living situation:

“I made headlines saying that we don’t live together yet. And people went crazy. They couldn’t believe it.”

While Cuoco is currently living and filming in New York City, her 28-year-old husband is a professional equestrian and can’t live in the Big Apple:

“Because of work and his business, and his horses are a few hours away from where I was currently living.”

However, it’s not permanent! They are currently working on their dream home which will hopefully allow the best of both worlds:

“We’re actually building our house together right now. We just haven’t been under the same roof. But, by the way, it’s been working great and we love it. We love it, so I don’t know why people have such an issue.”

Inneresting!

Right now, the 33-year-old is loving life in NYC:

“I’m shooting here and I love it. I just love the area and my apartment building is right in between a dog park and a rabbit rescue. So, it’s built for me.”

So what’s a girl to do when her husband isn’t nearby? Observe pets and animals, of course:

“I’m the girl that goes and sits in the park and watches the dogs run around like a creeper because I can get kind of my fill. And then I go into the pet store and I see the rabbits.”

Most notably, Gwyneth Paltrow made headlines when news broke she and husband Brad Falchuk don’t live under one roof. The Iron Man star’s intimacy coach Michaela Boehm revealed why more celebs and commoners (LOLz) should consider opting for separate living spaces:

“When couples start living together, they ruin the excitement. That’s true for anyone, Hollywood star or regular commoner.”

She preached:

“Spend time apart. That could be ten minutes at the end of the work day, it could be having separate rooms, or separate houses … do how much time you need.”
