Only time will tell what’s next for the Giudice family!
It’s been a week since Teresa Giudice and daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana ventured to Italy for a long-awaited reunion with her husband/their dad, Joe Giudice.
Following the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s return to the states, she opened up to People about where she and her spouse of 20 years stand after the big visit.

According to the 47-year-old, things went really well across the pond, but she’s still taking things one day at a time right now:
“It was really great to reunite with Joe and see how happy the girls were to see their dad. It was all about the girls, and we just had the best time with them, and that’s it. I mean, we’re just going to take day by day and see what happens. That’s basically it.”
The Bravolebrity told the outlet the trip was “perfect” and filled with “joy and happiness,” but also said she’s holding off on making any serious decisions about her marriage just yet:
“I mean, I can’t predict the future, but as of now, it was two and a half days. It was too short to decide. But our daughters are the most important thing. We’ll see what happens. I mean, he lives in Italy, I live in America. I don’t know if that’s going to work.”
Eek! This doesn’t exactly sound promising…
Despite the flood of adorable family photos Gia shared on social media, it’s clear there’s more to this ongoing situation with her parents that meets the eye.
The matriarch continued reflecting on last week’s sentimental trip, adding:
“I cried a lot. Because just seeing my daughters with him and I was just very, very emotional. At the end of the day I just want Joe to be happy. I’m just happy that he was free.”
As our readers know, the reality TV star couple has been living apart for the last few years as he began a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud in March 2016. After serving time, Giudice was then taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and held in detention up until last month. In October, he was released and granted clearance to return to Italy where he’s been living ever since.
During their recent Watch What Happens Live interview with Andy Cohen, the pair shared they still loved each other, but Teresa flat out said she’d have no choice but to call it quits for good if her man loses his deportation appeal (a third and final ruling is expected next year) and cannot return to the United States. Those vicious cheating allegations are still in the picture and deepening the rift between them, too.
She also said she was waiting until the trip to see how she felt, but that’s still a big old question mark!
