Amanda Bynes’ parents have reportedly rushed to court to seek help from a judge after the star allegedly ditched her sober living facility, her school, and her court-ordered conservatorship!
According to The Blast, the Nickelodeon alum left her sober living facility last week and it is currently unclear where she is residing. When Amanda’s parents learned she had flown the coup, they reportedly tried contacting the star to convince her to return to the facility — which has strict guidelines for drug testing, curfew, and help with mental health treatment. But, unfortunately, Amanda refused to accept help.
Amanda’s sober living home exit is a major diss to the conservatorship that was put in place by the Ventura County Court — but the actress is apparently planning on redesigning this legal situation altogether.

Sources told the outlet the star is expected to fight to remove her mom as a conservator and instead have a third party placed in charge of it going forward. Naturally, her parents don’t want this happening, and are said to be asking the court to help force the actress back into treatment.
In addition to dropping out of her sober living home, Amanda has also dropped out of her fashion design program and isn’t working. While she had graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising back in June with an Associate’s degree in fashion design, she was expected to continue her education.
Now, with the star out of school and living who knows where, her family is worried someone may come along and take advantage of her while she is unsupervised. Since the 33-year-old does still have access to a good portion of her finances, her parents fear that someone could get their hands on her multi-million dollar fortune.
What’s most at stake here, though, is Amanda’s well-being. The insiders said the family is worried she is “backsliding” and could be on her way back to abusing drugs. As we reported last year, the All That alum admitted to abusing Adderall and other substances during an interview with Paper magazine as a way to stay thin.
She recalled thinking at the time:
“Well, I have to get my hands on [Adderall].”
Needless to say, Amanda’s parents are fearing the worst, and are hoping they can get her help before it’s too late.
