You know your fam is in deep s**t when a lawyer is watching over every single video a 20-something social media influencer is posting to YouTube in order to be sure it doesn’t cause major legal trouble!
We’re not talking about Jake and Logan Paul here — although, honestly, perhaps a lawyer should have watched over more of their videos ahead of time, if only to avoid some major controversies! Ha!!!

No, we’re actually referring to Olivia Jade Giannulli, the 20-year-old YouTuber and daughter to actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. Apparently, the (former?) college student is working closely with an attorney who is helping counsel her on what she can and can’t say on the video-sharing platform — you know, so mom and dad don’t inadvertently get in MORE legal trouble!
As you well know by now, the former Fuller House star and her husband were charged earlier this year with fraud, money laundering, and bribery for allegedly paying half a million dollars in illegal bribes to get Olivia and her older sister, Isabella Rose, admitted to the University of Southern California. Forgoing potential plea deals, the couple has steadfastly maintained their innocence throughout this whole process, and soon enough, they’ll get their day in court.
But until then, as Olivia Jade continues her public comeback on YT, Us Weekly is reporting legal counsel is very concerned about potential liability in her video uploads. An insider claims:
“Olivia’s lawyer is providing counsel as to what content and topics Olivia can safely discuss, [which includes] staying away from any mention of her parents’ legal troubles.”
And it’s interesting she chose to make her comeback so soon, if only because she’s almost certainly going to be called to testify in court during her parents’ trial.
As another source noted to the outlet, her return to public life on social media could be used against her during testimony by prosecutors quick to question her motives and potential knowledge of the alleged crimes:
“Prosecutors could ask Olivia about her decision to return to social media.”
Yeah, no kidding. Is this 20-year-old YouTuber really ready to go toe-to-toe over this against some grizzled federal prosecutor in court?!
If we were in this situation, we’d probably stay off social media altogether. Just saying. Seems risky!!!
‘Cracks… Are Starting To Show’
Even though it may have been a bad idea to allow her back onto the platform so soon, another insider previously reported how “cracks in the family are starting to show,” as the one-time vlogging star had long been enraged at her parents for damaging her career on the platform.
As we reported on Wednesday, the insider revealed more at the time, spilling:
“Lori was very clear in telling Olivia to remain quiet and not do anything controversial, [but Olivia] had enough of not being able to speak her mind … Olivia’s YouTube video was a big betrayal. And cracks in the family are starting to show.”
Yeah… not great!!!

We know YouTube was an important part of the embattled 20-year-old’s life, but, like, come on! Her parents are facing SERIOUS prison time here! Maybe stay off social media until the trial is over, at least? We hope she really listens carefully to the lawyers, then…
Are we wrong to think that, Perezcious readers?! We get it! Olivia wants to get back to her normal life! But is THIS really the way to go about it??
