Get ready for Lindsay Lohan‘s big homecoming, y’all!
The 33-year-old actress joined co-hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen for a special satellite interview on New Year’s Eve this week and used the celebratory moment to share some exciting career plans in the works for 2020.
Apparently, her top priority right now is to return stateside to America and get back to acting on the silver screen!

As our readers know, the Freaky Friday star has been living abroad for a few years now, having spent ample time shooting her now-defunct reality TV show in Mykonos, Greece along with extended time in both Australia and Dubai. She is now reportedly staying in Muscat, Oman.
LiLo shared the big news when asked if she had any resolutions for the new year. The former child actor admitted:
“Yes, I do. I’m managing my sister, so I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I’m doing something soon in this new year. And, you know, just taking back the life I’ve worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys.”
A cross-country move is exhausting in itself. But we have to assume breaking back into Hollywood will be the harder challenge here!
Her last major movie was a werewolf thriller called Among The Shadows, which got a straight to DVD release back in March 2019. However, that last bit about the life she’s “worked so hard for” tells us the Mean Girls alum seems more confident in her acting chops than ever. Plus, we did hear she was reportedly working on a Keeping Up with the Kardashians-inspired reality show with her siblings, too.

In addition to her ambitious career goals, Lindsay also hinted at when we’ll finally get to hear some more music from her!
Fans were intrigued when the starlet released a snippet of Xanax back in August, marking her first single in over a decade. When the Watch What Happens Live host pressed the issue and demanded to know when the full version would be released, Lohan happily but vaguely replied:
“Andy, you’re getting it after the New Year.”
Hmm. We’ll be waiting…
After the exciting conversation wrapped, she took to her IG to thank the interviewers for the feature:
And just a few weeks prior, she let us know her former film career was still on her mind with this throwback photo featuring her one-time co-star Meryl Streep, too:
