Kacey Musgraves and her husband Ruston Kelly are going their own separate ways… errr, on Instagram, that is.
Although the couple still follows each other on that network and Twitter, the pair has jointly deleted all the photos they have of each other on the social networks. It’s unclear why this happened — or exactly when they did it over the last few weeks — but eagle-eyed fans have begun to notice how Kelly is no longer featured anywhere on Kacey’s feed, and vice versa. Uh-oh?!

The two musicians, who married in 2017, not only have been wiped clean from each other’s feeds — it had also been months since they posted about each other, anyways. Back in November, the 31-year-old Rainbow singer attended the CMAs alone, and did not mention Ruston in any acceptance speech for the multiple awards she took home that night. Similarly, Kelly himself didn’t acknowledge her wins for several days on social media, finally sharing an IG Story about it almost a week later.
And since then… nothing. The last public photo of them together in any capacity was posted in November by one of Ruston’s tour mates. It showed Kacey surprising the singer-songwriter while on tour (below):
But it appears that’s the last publicly-posted pic of the two of them together… now about two months old. Hmm…

Even more interesting, Ruston posted a very cryptic message on Instagram last week about 2019 being a challenging year, as you can see here:
Along with the pics, he wrote this about moving forward in 2020 with the “struggle to do better,” and more:
“2020 /// this past year was a challenging and rewarding year, conflicts mixed with resolve and the ever struggle to do better with yourself every time. But self-reliance and the industrial quest of knowing who you are, every day and in every action, does not mean aloneness. In fact it’s quite the opposite. Your community and family and blood is a foundational element of who you are and your empowerment to persevere. It is your safety and your recharging. My own have been this to me, and being more present this year than ever has taught me the deeper value in that connection. Onward!”
Onward, indeed…
Again, it appears these two still follow each other on social media, so they haven’t totally disconnected online quite yet. And, Ruston liked several of Kacey’s IG posts in December, so there’s at least still some activity going on there. But something appears to be afoot….
