She continued:

“I’m excited! I’m actually very excited. I think it’s going to be fun to go back and see the old gang and, yeah, I’m looking forward to it.”

There aren’t too many details locked in just yet since the second season of the rebooted series “just started filming,” and she has not been in front of the camera just yet:

“I don’t know when I will start filming or what’s happening yet, but I will be.”

Though her husband Jay Cutler appears on Very Cavallari, her reality series which airs on E!, he will not be involved in her cameo on the MTV show:

“He would never. He wouldn’t do it. I can barely get him to do Very Cavallari. I think secretly he has fun doing it. He would never admit it. I can tell. He’s really good at it. He’s coming into his own.”

As TV addicts will recall, the series initially aired from 2006 through 2010, before it was revived in 2019. Understandably, things are very different now, and Cavallari noted she is aware of that:

“I don’t know what to expect. It’s a whole new production team, so hopefully it’s not as manufactured, but we will see. I’m happy to be a part of an iconic show, Laguna Beach and The Hills. I mean, it’s cool and I think it’s awesome that people are still so invested in that, here we are 10 years later.”

We had a crossover moment earlier this year after Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge made a joint cameo appearance on Kristin’s series when they visited her in Nashville and dished about past drama with Lauren Conrad, relationships, and more. Nevertheless, we’re excited to see them reunite once more!

An Us Weekly source confirmed “it’s just one episode.” But who knows? The rest is still unwritten…
