Y’all think mandated quarantine can bring down Aunt Becky’s spirits? She’s been stuck in the same full house for like three decades!
For real though, according to a new source, Lori Loughlin is one celeb for whom the global pandemic is NOT a stress — because she’s been basically locked in her house for the past year!
The Fuller House star and her fashion designer hubby, Mossimo Giannulli, are one of the last families still fighting the charges stemming from the college admissions scandal, in which they were accused of floating bribes to USC officials through a fake charity in order to get their daughters admitted based on bogus athletic accomplishments.

And, well, frankly, one crisis at a time! And this case has never stopped being a fight. The source tells ET:
“Lori is exhausted from worrying about this case. She hasn’t wavered from her not guilty plea for months. At this point, Lori and her husband have absolutely no plans to make a deal despite the feds’ response to her allegations. The prosecution’s pressure has had no effect. Lori and her husband maintain they made a charitable donation.”
Well, they’ll have their day in court — in October unless the quarantine ends up going longer than anyone is ready for!
As for how Lori is dealing with the whole COVID-19 thing, well she has something of a head start on social distancing. The insider explains:
“Social distancing hasn’t been difficult for Lori because she feels in many ways she has been doing it for the past year. She is, of course, very concerned for her family and reminds her [daughters Olivia Jade and Bella] to social distance.”
As for Lori herself? We’ve heard she got to the point of not being able to trust even her close friends months ago. So she’s well ahead of the curve there:
“She’s become used to being in her home and separating herself from the public. It’s become a safe haven for her during her darkest moments of this scandal.”
Thankfully Olivia Jade and Bella are reportedly being safe as well in quarantine together — and actually “closer than ever”:
“They hang out and listen to music, play games, watch movies, make TikToks and FaceTime with friends. They know they have no choice but to stay home and, while it’s hard, they are making the best of it.”
Just a couple no-nonsense rule followers, right there.
According to the insider, the whole family is getting along surprisingly well… thanks to a few new rules:
“Olivia and Bella have been more at ease since the family made the case an off-limits topic in the home. Also, Lori’s decision to allow them to use social media again has eased a lot of tension. In the beginning, they were banned to post anything online, and they felt as if they were being blamed and even punished because of their mother’s mistake. All that is in the past and time has helped to heal.”
Can you imagine if they were both quarantined AND banned from social media?
