Lori Loughlin is feeling more confident than ever!
ICYMI, there have been multiple reports as of late that the Full House alum and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are feeling good about their upcoming trial, so much so they believe it will get thrown out all together, or at the least they will be found not guilty.

A source revealed to Us Weekly:
“Lori’s lawyers feel they have a very strong chance of having the charges dismissed because prosecutors withheld key evidence that [ringleader] Rick Singer was pressured by the FBI to lie in the course of his conversations with Lori. It was entrapment, misleading a defendant so that Rick could get a favorable sentence for his role. Rick was the mastermind in all of this.”
Not only that, but apparently the duo are “more steadfast than ever that they did nothing illegal,” according to the insider who also added:
“Lori’s team is asking that the charges be dismissed entirely or for the recorded telephone conversations to be suppressed, meaning, the jury can’t hear it. If the judge doesn’t dismiss or suppress the phone conversations, Lori’s lawyers will grill Rick Singer on the stand. Singer could actually become a witness for the defense even though he has been cooperating with the feds.”
If the charges cannot get dropped in time, they are ready to go to battle in October during trial. The confidant explained:
“Prosecutors are compelled to call Singer to the stand, and if they don’t, Lori’s team will. Expect the FBI agents that also worked the case that Rick mentions will also be subjected to increased scrutiny by Lori’s defense team.”
As we previously shared, the infamous “rowing” photos of Olivia Jade and Bella Rose were released in early April, which only added fuel to the fire. However, reports which followed claimed that the 55-year-old and 56-year-old weren’t phased by it too much, even if their daughters were.
The couple is apparently sticking with their story that they were tricked into this whole situation, and believe they should be in the clear, per a source at the time:
“As damning as it looks, keep in mind that they were following Rick Singer’s instructions, and he was having them do a lot of things that they didn’t understand. Legally speaking, the photos are not evidence of criminal wrongdoing. They’re definitely eye-grabbing, but they are not charged with taking photos.”
