Amanda Kloots continues to honor the memory of her late husband, Broadway star Nick Cordero, and in doing so also shower love on the couple’s 13-month-old son Elvis Eduardo in the process.
The 38-year-old fitness instructor has been mourning her beloved husband after he died last month from coronavirus complications at the age of 41. But now, even as she continues in her unimaginable grief, the young momma is finding the good in life in small, but touching ways.

In a brand new Instagram photo posted to the picture-sharing app on Sunday afternoon, Kloots showed off the striking resemblance between the longtime Broadway actor and performer and his infant son, with a side-by-side pic of the two most important men in her life.
Explaining she first received the picture in a direct message from a follower, Kloots wrote an inspiring and heartwarming caption about seeing how closely Elvis resembles his daddy, and how much it “took my breath away.”
The fitness instructor and trainer wrote more, too, sharing (below):
“I have said from the beginning that Elvis is a mini Nick but WOW this side by side sealed the deal. I’ve noticed now that Elvis does this look a lot to me. When he is playing and I call his name to look at me or we are cuddling in bed and he looks up at me. It makes my heart melt. ❤️ I feel so lucky to have Elvis in my life. A piece of Nick that is still alive. I am so grateful for that. I am trying to find the things in my life that I am grateful for through this difficult time when nothing seems right. I always start my day with a positive quote but I am going to start adding in what I am grateful for to remind me that there are always blessings even in the most difficult of times.”
Wow. What strength and resolve to see the good in life during what could otherwise be such an unimaginably dark and difficult time…

That little guy is so stinkin’ cute, too, isn’t he?! There’s so much to love about that picture, and the obvious father-son resemblance, and how much Elvis must remind Amanda of her beloved late husband.
Here’s hoping Cordero is somewhere looking down on Amanda and Elvis, and watching over them as they grow closer together in his absence from this world.
