Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are back in the United States after their critically important family trip to the Dominican Republic, and it sounds like maybe they’ve figured some things out?!?!
As you’ll recall, the pair was with children North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 15 months down in the Caribbean island nation for the better part of the last week, reportedly there to reconcile after Kanye’s headline-making behaviors of the past few weeks. And to hear insiders tell it, well, it sounds like things have definitely started to get better for the whole famous fam.

On Sunday, the 43-year-old rapper and his 39-year-old wife were spotted along with all four of the couple’s children arriving at the airport in Miami, fresh off their stay down in the Dominican. From what we understand based on what sources are saying to People, too, it sounds like their family trip is set to continue from here as tensions subside between the world-famous mom and dad:
“They had a good family week in the Dominican Republic. They are continuing the family vacation in Colorado. Kim and Kanye are getting along. They both seem much happier.”
So on to Colorado it is, where Kimye will presumably continue to attempt to reconcile and move forward as a couple, after weeks of tension and high-profile public problems.
As you’ll recall, an insider recently shared how they couple was in fact traveling to the D.R. together to “focus on their marriage,” with the source adding at the time (below):
“They decided to travel together so they can be away in private. Between the kids, work, and dealing with Kanye’s bipolar episodes, it’s been hard for her to think clearly.”
Yeah, no kidding…
Things appeared to be at least somewhat better by Friday, when Kanye posted a light-hearted video from the trip which showed off him and daughter North dancing together next to a golf cart.

The couple, who has been married for six years, previously were reportedly considering divorce after Kanye’s unbelievable actions during a campaign rally last month in South Carolina. No word quite yet on whether a split might still be on the table, but there’s no doubt a week in the Dominican did at least do something to help the fam put on a united public front, if nothing else.
So… here’s to continued happiness, we suppose? As always, we’ll keep updating you with what happens to Kimye and how the fallout affects their family going forward…
