Lisa Vanderpump is still getting the cold shoulder from fired Vanderpump Rules star and mom-to-be Stassi Schroeder.
Just two months after Bravo let go of the pregnant reality TV personality along with cast member Kristen Doute for their racially motivated actions against season 4 star Faith Stowers, the SUR business owner opened up about the landmark decision and everything that’s changed for the two since then!

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, LVP said:
“I think it’s sad, really, what happened, because I do think that people can learn from their mistakes, and I’m all about that. I think you’ve seen that on the show. Of course, we do know that we’re in this momentum of really people kind of standing up for what’s right, and I’m all about that and embracing that — and I do believe in zero tolerance for that — but I also believe that you can come back from that and you’re young and you can learn from it.”
She continued, expressing a desire to see the embattled pair of women, including terminated employees Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens, return to the small screen via her show:
“So, if it were up to me, I would like to see them go on but really have a better understanding of where they went wrong and really, you know — I’m not into just kind of getting rid of people, because they get it wrong. Otherwise, I’d probably have nobody working for me at this point.”
(True, but this is a golden opportunity to start over with fresh faces — and there’s still some trash left to be taken out as well!) The 59-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum also clarified that she had nothing to do with Stassi and Kristen getting the axe because although they were featured on Pump Rules, the two actually weren’t working in her restaurant at the time:
“Stassi hadn’t worked for me for a couple of years, nor had Kristen. So that part wasn’t down to me really at all. It’s not my decision. And I think that was then and this is now, but I’m all about giving people second chances, yes, but also about holding people accountable.”
That technicality aside, we have a hard time believing Lisa didn’t have a say in how everything played out — or that she was unaware of her crew’s problematic behavior as she suggested in her initial statement about the firings. She seemed adamant about protecting the integrity of her workplace then, but a lot more open to giving second chances now…
Well, here’s to hoping that message somehow finds its way to Schroeder! Although she “reached out” the expectant Next Level Basic author “two or three” times now, the restauranteur said she hasn’t received a reply. Fans know Vanderpump and Doute haven’t been on good terms in years, but she still offered this sentiment:
“I haven’t heard back from [Stassi] and I really, you know, I do love them both.”
She added that there are no hard feelings if Stassi wants to “step away” and focus on “a happy time in her life” with fiancé Beau Clark as the two are getting ready to welcome their first child together. That may be true, but it sounds like LVP might’ve missed that memo early on when sources claimed the TV personality was “not mad” at her old boss and didn’t think the firing was her fault “by any means.” So, there’s that! Maybe send a nice gift when the baby arrives?
As for the future of the show, Vanderpump also told ET there will be “new cast members” if they return for another season. Commenting on the cry for more diversity, she said:
“It’s really up to people that want to be front and center. I mean, I’m always all about that. Our companies are like the United Nations.”
Perezcious readers, do U think these ladies will ever bury the hatchet someday? Would U like to see any of the stars let go return to reality TV? Let us know (below) in the comments.
