Adele is living her best life!!
While the singer’s dramatic weight loss over the past several months has caused some concern from followers, sources and friends close to the 32-year-old insist she’s doing great!

A source shared with People about how her lifestyle needed a change:
“In the past, the stress from balancing work and being a mom was intense. She wanted to find a way to balance things better.”
Part of finding balance meant cutting back on alcohol and sticking to a diet and exercise regimen:
“She is now in a very good place both physically and mentally.”
We’re so glad to hear it!!
But don’t worry, it’s the same Adele at the end of the day, shared a second insider:
“She looks like a different person, but she’s the same cool chick who will tell you to f**k off if you try and second-guess her. She is happy and fulfilled.”
So, how did she drop 100+ pounds? Her former London-based trainer Pete Geracimo spilled to the outlet:
“She quit smoking, reduced her drinking, got rid of sugar and stopped eating processed foods. She made healthier food choices and is training regularly.”
He can also attest to her DGAF attitude during their training sessions ahead of her 2016 and 2017 world tour:
“I got called every name under the sun by her. But to her credit, she always came ready and worked out hard.”
As we previously shared, Geracimo recently defended the Grammy winner from backlash over her transformation in a lengthy Instagram post. He wrote:
“It’s disheartening to read negative commentary and fat-phobic accusations questioning the genuineness of her amazing weight loss. In my personal experience of working with her through many highs and lows, she always marched to the beat of her own drum on her own terms. She never undermined her God-given talent by reducing herself to expose her flesh or be the over the top sexy vixen to sell albums. She let her voice do the talking, or should I say singing! She never once pretended to be something that she wasn’t. What you saw was what you got. And we all LOVED it!”
The workout enthusiast added:
“My hope is that people appreciate the hard work that Adele has done to improve herself for the benefit to her and her family only. She did not lose the weight to make others feel bad about themselves. This personal transformation has nothing to do with me or you. It’s about Adele and how she wants to live her life. She has not changed from the Adele we grew up with and have loved. There is just a little less of her to go around. Just think, now that she is more fit and more fabulous, she might tour again! WIN-WIN!!!!”
