Madison Maidenberg’s drama with her ex-boyfriend isn’t over yet!
The Love Is Blind alum got back on TikTok on Thursday with part five of her breakup story after finding out new information about her ex, and you need to be seated for this update! I’s her juiciest one yet! If you don’t know the tea so far, let us catch you up!
Last week, Madison revealed her man dumped her one month after she hard launched their relationship on social media. She swore she would have her fairy tale ending and get married to this guy one day, but it turns out he was not her Prince Charming! In fact, he was the complete opposite!
The Netflix personality broke down everything that went wrong from her perspective, including that he broke her trust after allegedly ruining a New York City trip and not putting much effort into the relationship. She then continued to see his true colors post-breakup, as she claims he begged her not to share any receipts, especially a DM on Instagram she received from, she says, one of his female pals who “went absolutely psycho” on her for posting about him and accused her of telling “lies.” But, honey, this is Madison we’re talking about here! Now, more has come to light about her ex-boyfriend, and Madison is spilling the tea to everyone! The reality star revealed she received another DM on Instagram, this time “a very welcomed one,” from a woman called Hannah. Hannah is apparently an ex-girlfriend of her former boyfriend — and yes, that part is true. Madison said she knows Hannah is really one of his exes, explaining:
“When we talked about, we had seen in the past, and, you know, what we learned, things of that nature. He had mentioned Hannah. When did you and Hannah last talk? He told me that they last talked in November. No, there was no overlap. Was I extremely premature in calling him my future husband? Yes, I was. And I admit that. I also admit that I’m a very big self-proclaimed lover girl, and I sometimes get ahead of myself.”
Madison went on to say she got a message from Hannah, who agreed for her story to be shared online as she is “sick of men getting away with shady behavior,” as she claims she was talking with the guy up until the exact same day he matched with Madison on Hinge. Damn. According to her, they were apparently dating on-and-off over the past few years, and he planned to give their romance another go, even organizing a whole trip for them. But she says he ghosted her when he matched with Madison! Ouch.
The influencer shared:
“He had planned a trip with her to go to Steamboat and ghosted her. And she told me that they had been on and off for a couple of years, that he kept pushing her away, pulling her in, pushing her away, pulling her in. Like, this was their dynamic. Apparently, he was on Hinge while they were seeing each other, and, you know, he had pulled her back in. He wanted to try again. All the while he was on Hinge, and once he and I matched, he stopped talking to her.”
Wow! So on top of everything else they claim, this guy gives cheater vibes too? Can’t say we’re too surprised. Not after the claim he went on a possible “double date” with another woman the day before he broke up with Madison…
The social media personality insisted she didn’t know he was trying to win back Hannah before they matched, saying:
“It just makes me sad. Like, it just makes me so sad. That he had pushed her away, they had broken up. He pulled her back in, made plans with her, set up a trip with her, and then ditched her. Sounds familiar. He told me that they last talked in November, and that it just was kind of a mutual breakup, that they just decided it wasn’t going to work. He never told me that they were on and off. He just said, like, ‘Oh, yeah, like, I dated this girl, and that was that.’”
Ugh!
Another detail in Hannah’s story that caught Madison’s attention? How they called the guy two different versions of his name! She explained:
“We’ll say he has a name that’s like mine that can be shortened. So obviously, my name is Madison. I could be Maddie. We’ll call him Bradley. So I called him Bradley. She was calling him Brad, which was very interesting to me, because when we started dating, he was very, very adamant to me that he did not like to be called Brad, that he liked to be called Bradley, just like me. I hate to be called Maddie. I like to be called Madison.”
Madison continued:
“When I told her, I was like, it’s so funny to hear you call him Brad because he always said that he hates being called Brad by anybody that’s not women. Like, he told me specifically, he’s like, yeah, all the women in my life call me Bradley, not Brad. And she’s like, that is crazy to me, because he told me that Bradley felt way too formal, that he so preferred Brad over Bradley. Sounds to me like homie was going through a little rebranding or something, which is wild, too, because when he met my mom, and he was talking to my mom, he was like, ‘All the women in my life call me Bradley. You know, only, like, guys or, like, people in business call me Brad. Like, really? Bradley is what I prefer to go by.’ Meanwhile, this girl who has been on and off with him for a couple of years is telling me that he hated to go by Bradley.”
Huh, weird. But knowing this, Madison expressed that she feels like she “didn’t even know this person at all, and it’s just kind of sad.” He also allegedly acted differently with the women. Madison claims that when he dated Hannah, “he was a serial dater,” and “he was completely commitment-phobic,” which was the complete “opposite” of the content creator’s experience. She recognizes now that she likely got love bombed, but she also knows she can be the same way:
“Look, I can also be a love bomber. I know that about myself. I love connection. When we started dating, I mean, it was quick. Like, everyone’s called me out. I know. We moved very fast. Hello. I was on Love Is Blind. I got engaged in ten days, okay? I’m no stranger to moving quick.”
As for Bradley, Brad, whatever you want to call him, not wanting her to post receipts? Hannah offered a theory, saying that he “just doesn’t want you to post about it because he doesn’t want to be held accountable for his actions.” Looking back on their relationship, Madison reflects:
“Something about that really rang out to me, because what was interesting is that while we were dating and when I did our hard launch and when I posted about us, I remember him being so interested in the comments, and he was like, oh, I just wonder, like, what people are gonna say. Like, who’s gonna come out of the woodwork? And, you know, initially, I was kind of like, yeah, I get that. Like, obviously, you know, I was on a show. I know how that feeling is, where you’re kind of like, oh, gosh, what are people gonna say about me? We all have a dating history, and I totally validate that. But now, with all of this happening, in the way that he treated me, and now knowing the way that he’s treated other women, I see why he was so intent on reading all of it.”
Oof.
Ultimately, Madison just wants to open up about her experience with her ex because, as Hannah pointed out to her via DM, “women have been taught to handle relationship pain alone and to just be quiet and kind of grin and bear it.” She continued:
“Truly, I want these videos to stand, first of all, as encouragement for women that are going through things. Speak up, because there are so many women out there that have gone through the same kind of things. And honestly, women are so supportive of one another when you find the right women. And quite honestly, I want this series to stand also as a warning for anybody that I may potentially date, that I’m not gonna just be quiet anymore. There’s other women out there that are saying, ‘Wow, I’m through the same thing. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you for normalizing that these actions are not normal.’ That makes this feel worth it. To be vulnerable with you guys. And like my mama always said, if you don’t want somebody to know that you did something, don’t do it.”
And the bright side of all this, at least? She really did find a lot of support… and also a new friend! Madison revealed to her followers that she and Hannah are meeting up for drinks. Hell yes! We love that!
Madison also shared that she thinks “this is the fifth and final part,” adding:
“Hopefully, there are no other new developments.”
