Ariana Madix wants to make one thing clear: She and Tom Schwartz are not friends following the drama of the Scandoval.

After Ariana‘s ex and Schwartz‘s friend Tom Sandoval was caught having an affair with castmate Raquel Leviss earlier this year, she made it clear that she could no longer be friends with Schwartz.

However, fans were confused after they saw a photo of them dining together (with a larger group) at a restaurant. Ariana took to the comments section to clear the air.

Fans noticed that Ariana was seated at a table with Schwartz at a sandwich tasting for an upcoming restaurant. One person seemingly called her out in the comments section, writing that they “thought ariana said we cant be friends with schwartz” while also noting that the “whole cast is missing sandoval.”

Ariana cleared the air, very plainly writing “im not friends with tom schwartz” in response.

What happened between Ariana and Schwartz? It was revealed that he knew about Sandoval‘s affair before it became public knowledge, though he said that he believed it just a one-night stand.

Amid all of the drama, Schwartz said that he was “taking a break” from Sandoval back in June. He later admitted that he was “terrified” to start filming the new season of the reality series.

He and Sandoval do appear to have made peace to a degree, as they were spotted hanging out together last month.
