Ava Max is injured after being struck on stage by a fan.

The 29-year-old “Sweet But Psycho” superstar was performing at her On Tour (Finally) stop at The Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (June 20), when a fan onstage slapped her across the face, scratching her eye as she covered her face and went offstage. “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again 😡😡thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!!❤️,” Ava wrote after the show.

The incident comes just days after fellow pop star Bebe Rexha was assaulted by a phone thrown by a fan, who is now facing charges.
