The Britney Spears jukebox musical, Once Upon a One More Time, is closing on Broadway.
The fairy tale-inspired musical based around the discography of the 41-year-old “Toxic” superstar has announced its final performance will be on September 3 at the Marquis Theatre.
Upon its closure, Once Upon a One More Time will have played 123 performances.

The show includes dozens of Britney songs, including “Oops I Did It Again,” “Lucky,” “Circus” and “Toxic,” and incorporates princesses like Cinderella, Snow White and Little Mermaid, whose discovery of Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique sparks a feminist awakening and inspires them to revisit the concept of happily ever after.
It was originally developed and produced by the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington D.C., and received mixed reviews.
Its Broadway run started previews on May 13, 2023, with the opening on June 22.
