Junk Kook is opening up about missing his BTS bandmates while he’s working on solo projects!
During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up to promote his song “3D,” the 26-year-old singer got vulnerable about working without his friends.
If you didn’t know, BTS announced in October 2022 that they would embark on a hiatus until 2025 so that the group members could complete their mandatory military service.

“I think I miss the moments [most] when we were hanging out and being together in the green room and also being on the stage together,” Jung shared. “Nowadays, even if I’m just waiting or chilling in the green room myself, it doesn’t get really loud anymore. So the loudness and the little bit of noise coming from my bandmates is gone.”
Fortunately, he still feels the powerful love from their fans, the BTS army.
“I think I’m most surprised when I realize how much love and support I get from so many people,” he reflected.
