Andi Dorfman Thinks The New Bachelorette Season With Two Female Leads Is ‘A Little Sexist’

A woman made famous by The Bachelorette isn’t happy with where the show is headed in 2022 — but honestly, she’s makes a pretty good point with her argument here! Andi Dorfman is letting her thoughts be known about the forthcoming season of the hit ABC reality TV show. Of course, it is set to premiere on […]

Andi Dorfman Boyfriend Revealed: Who is Blaine Hart?

Suffice it to say that not all of Andi Dorfman’s relationships have ended well.

That is okay. She has moved on and found her happiness, this time looking off screen.

The The Bachelorette alum has gone public with her new relationship.

Her new love is not a familiar face to the Bachelor Nation, but he is a man from her past.

Andi Dorfman was a contestant on Season 18 of The Bachelor before she made her The Bachelorette debut in Season 10.

About two months ago, she revealed that she was in a relationship.

She did not, at the time, disclose who the lucky man might be.

Now, the world knows his face — after she shared him on social media.

Thanks to an inside source speaking to E! News, we know his name.

Andi’s significant other is Blaine Hart.

The insider dished that Andi and Blaine “met each other years ago.

This was “during college,” the source detailed, after they met “through a mutual friend.”

The friend in question “went to school with Blaine in South Carolina.”

“They both happened to be in Italy at the same time this past summer,” the source shared.

“And,” the insider continued, the two “reconnected after 15 years.”

Triumphantly, the source explained: “They have been together ever since!”

The insider boasts that this beautiful romance is “the fairy tale Andi always dreamt of.”

The source added: “She has never been happier before in her life.”

Those are strong words. Encouraging ones, too.

At first, Andi played coy about her new man.

Her first public photo with Blaine had his face turned away from the camera.

This was on November 10, when her cousin — 13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman — echoed many fans by asking “Now who is this?”

Andi let people ask their questions but was in no rush to answer them.

For New Year’s Eve, she took to social media to share a photo of the two of them sharing a kiss.

Andi captioned the celebratory photo: “By far my favorite thing from 2021.”

The next day, Andi kicked off 2022 with another post.

“Cheers to a year filled with love and sparkles,” she expressed.

Optimistically, Andi added: “2022 … I have a feeling you might very well be the best one yet!”

While that expression of hope sounds downright unrealistic considering the state of, well, everything, it’s nice to hear.

Andi has certainly been unlucky in love in the past.

Never was that more apparent than when her initial debut on the franchise was on Juan Pablo’s season.

Juan Pablo made for a very entertaining season … but he is widely regarded as being one of the worst leading men in the show’s history.

Andi dropped out of the competition, excusing herself.

That was seven years ago, and certainly not the end of her journey.

Andi moved on with Josh Murray after she had her own time as leading lady, but they broke up in early 2015.

Blaine likely has very little to say about Andi’s on-screen history.

Why? Because, according to the inside source, “he did not watch her on The Bachelorette.”

The Bachelorette Stars: Ranked By (Super Short) Relationship Length!

As predicted by The Bachelorette spoilers, this season’s leading lady, Michelle Young, did in fact find The One!

Of course … whether he’s The One for right now or just the won who became her first fiance remains to be seen.

Sounds harsh, we know. But it’s true.

A lot can happen in a few short months, let alone years. Remember how Katie and Blake Moynes broke up?

Yes, making love 30-46 times soon after they met was a great place to start, but real life quickly took its toll.

Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya are no Katie and Blake. We’re not saying that. But they are all too human.

Even in the best circumstances, it’s tough out there for a couple that meets in the bubble of Bachelor Nation.

This is a dating competition throwing people together under a pretense that is literally impossible to sustain.

Can they transition into a new normal? Grow together? Make it work? Sure, but often times, they fall short.

Which stars made their true love last?

Which ones fell in love so hard, yet flamed out so hilariously fast you can barely even call it a relationship?

And what about everyone in between?

Below, we’ve ranked the Bachelorettes based on who was most successful at finding love in her stint as queen.

See how they stack up from worst to first, and say a prayer that it works out for Michelle and Nate

1. Hannah Brown

Hannah brown picture
One of the most recent (and most notorious) Bachelorettes, Hannah Brown a.k.a. Hannah Beast a.k.a. Alabama Hannah a.k.a. Beast Mode, comes in first, or last, depending on your point of view. Hannah got engaged to Jed Wyatt on The Bachelorette, but that was over by the time we got to the After the Final Rose special, at which point she asked out runner-up Tyler Cameron. (That short-lived romance fizzled also.) On the plus side, she sets a very low bar for all who follow in her footsteps.

2. Jen Schefft

Jen schefft
Bachelorette Jen Schefft broke up with winner Jerry Ferris on the After the Rose special because she just “wasn’t feeling it.” Not even making it to the day after the finale? As we saw with Hannah Brown, if nothing else, Jen set very low expectations for everyone else to clear.

3. Katie Thurston

Katie thurston and blake moynes engaged
The train wreck that is Greg Grippo aside, Katie’s season was a hit, as Thurston ended up engaged to Blake Moynes. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, it was all over after a few months. It’s almost like not living in the same city or having any shared interests other than banging isn’t a recipe for lasting love.

4. Michelle Young

Nayte olukoya wins
Michelle Young, whose Bachelorette season just wrapped, literally could not have had a worse go of it than Hannah and Jen, or even Katie for that matter, unless she decides to peace TF out of her storybook romance with Nayte Olukoya within the next couple of weeks. We’re assuming Michelle outlasts not only Katie, but many more women on this list as well. Of course, only time will tell.

5. Emily Maynard

Emily maynard and tyler johnson
Emily Maynard and Jef Holm broke up just a few months after his proposal in 2012. He was never the right guy anyway. Should’ve picked Sean Lowe. Not that she or Sean (who is happily married to Catherine Giudici, who he met on The Bachelor) are overthinking it right now. Sean and Catherine are about as happy as a couple can be, while Emily has since married and had a bunch of kids with Tyler Johnson (pictured). Not the NHL player Tyler Johnson, but another good looking one to boot.

6. Andi Dorfman

Andi dorfman attends stylewatch x charming charlie launch event
Andi Dorfman found love with Josh Murray on The Bachelorette, a move that she seemed destined to make from the start despite a lot of red flags. The heart wants what it wants, we suppose … including ugly and prompt breakups. Their engagement ended after only six months or so.

The Bachelorette Stars: Ranked By (Very Short) Relationship Length!

As predicted by The Bachelorette spoilers, this season’s leading lady, Katie Thurston, did in fact find the one!

Then, as predicted by The Hollywood Gossip, and just about everyone else, Katie and Blake Moynes broke up.

Yes, already!

Sure, making love 30-46 times soon after they met was a great place to start, but real life quickly took its toll.

Even in the best circumstances, it’s tough out there for a couple that meets in the bubble of Bachelor Nation.

Michelle Young, whose Bachelorette season is currently underway, literally can’t have a worse go of it than Hannah and Jen, unless she decides to peace out of the show altogether at some point during her quest for love. Given how unlikely that scenario is, and how badly things ended for Jen and Hannah, we’re slotting Michelle in above them already – and given how fast Katie and Blake flamed out, we’re assuming Michelle outlasts her as well.

5. Emily Maynard

The Bachelorette Stars Ranked By Relationship Length: Who’s #1?

As predicted by The Bachelorette spoilers, this season’s leading lady, Katie Thurston, did in fact find the one!

But as far as finding lasting love after the show?

Well, let’s just say she has her work cut out.

Sure, making love 30-46 times since they’ve met is a great place to start, but real life has a way of taking its toll.

Last season, Tayshia and Zac Clark ended up engaged, while Clare and Dale Moss may be back together.

This was a much better year than most. It’s just hard to bank on a romance stemming from a reality TV show.

Why? It’s just the nature of the beast.

If Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum split, after starting a beautiful family together, that’s all you need to know.

Even in the best circumstances, it’s tough.

This is a dating competition throwing two people together under a pretense that is literally impossible to sustain.

Can they transition into a new normal, grow together, and make it work? Sure, but often times, they fall short.

Michelle Young, whose Bachelorette season is set to begin later in 2021, literally can’t have a worse go of it than Hannah and Jen, unless she decides to peace out of the show altogether at some point during her quest for love. Given how unlikely that scenario is, and just how badly things ended for Jen and Hannah, we’re slotting Michelle in above them already.

4. Katie Thurston

Katie thurston and blake moynes engaged
The train wreck that is Greg Grippo aside, Katie’s season was a hit, as Thurston ended up engaged to Blake Moynes. Sure, the odds are still against them, but it sure seems like a good fit, so let’s take the glass half full attitude for now. Good luck to these lovely sexy people!

5. Emily Maynard

The Bachelorette Stars Ranked By Relationship Length!

As The Bachelorette spoilers predicted, Clare Crawley essentially got engaged and bowed out of the show early in 2020.

Crawley was replaced by Tayshia Adams, who finished the job of doling out the roses and ended up engaged herself.

In this most bizarre year for the series, and in general, a double shot at lasting love is just what Bachelor Nation needed.

Looking ahead, we’re hoping for the best for both Clare and Tayshia on their journeys, but the odds are not in their favor.

Why do we say that? Life gets in the say.

If Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum split, that tells you all you need to know. Even in the best circumstances, it’s tough.

This is a dating competition throwing two people together under a pretense that is literally impossible to sustain over time.

We have ranked the 17 Bachelorette stars based on who was most successful at finding love during her stint as queen.

See how they stack up from worst to first, and see if this year’s TWO stars can succeed where others have failed …

1. Hannah Brown

5. DeAnna Pappas

Deanna pappas stephen stagliano picture
DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak broke up seven months after their finale aired. Silver linings: Her journey introduced us to Jason Mesnick, one of the more popular contestants in franchise history, and DeAnna went on to marry Stephen Stagliano, a high school teacher and the twin brother of former Bachelorette contestant Mike Stagliano!

6. Tayshia Adams

Tayshia adams and zac clark wedding photo
We can’t put Tayshia Adams any higher on this list, since her journey just unfolded on ABC, but she and Zac Clark are engaged and head over heels in love. Nothing is guaranteed, but we don’t see these two flaming out as fast as some of the mismatches we’ve seen on this franchise. Or possibly at all! It’s been a solid few months since they met on the show, and hopefully, they’ll be a lot higher on this list as their relationship grows over time.

The Bachelorette Stars: Which Romances Lasted the Longest?

If The Bachelorette spoilers are any indication, Clare Crawley will get engaged and bow out of the show early in this season.

Clare Crawley’s journey hasn’t even aired yet, but she’s reportedly found love with Dale Moss – and besides, even if The Bachelorette’s 2020 season ends in shambles, you can’t flame out harder than Jen or Hannah B., so she’s already ahead two spots in these rankings!

4. Tayshia Adams

Tayshia photo
Like Clare, we can’t put Tayshia Adams any higher on this list since her journey hasn’t unfolded on ABC yet – but she also can’t possibly mess it up harder than Hannah or Jen, so hey. It’s a really low bar. Also, she already got the weird John Paul Jones thing outta the way in Paradise, so hopefully she’ll make better life decisions this time around.

The Bachelor: The Most Shocking Exits Ever … Including Tonight’s

Since the early 2000s, The Bachelor franchise has delivered shockers, emotional meltdowns and twists we never saw coming.

Usually, these result – or stem from – an elimination.

Or a dramatic departure of one’s own volition. Or someone being asked to leave by the show itself. Or just a really bad breakup.

All of the above have left an indelible mark.

With the TV cameras rolling, obviously. Not even The Bachelor spoilers or Bachelorette spoilers can prepare you for this.

Suddenly it’s no surprise that this franchise has stood the test of time, airing for 40-plus seasons, with no end in sight.

The men, the women and the moments featured on this list made their way onto it for very diverse, but very real reasons.

Often through no fault of their own.

All provided images we won’t soon forget. At least not ’til the next season airs on ABC and we update this list once again.

Where does this week’s Bachelor season finale, and its devastating heartbreak for multiple people, rank on the list?

Behold, the most stunning exits in Bachelor history

1. DeAnna Pappas AND Jenni Croft

Brad blows everything
The one that started it all: Brad Womack rejected Jenni Croft on his season finale, and looked poised to propose to fan favorite DeAnna Pappas … who he ALSO rejected! No matter what stunners took place in subsequent years – and we’ve seen a bunch, including the most recent finale – walking away with nothing and breaking two hearts AT THE FINAL ROSE CEREMONY remains the least expected (and least popular) move in franchise history. And moreover, DeAnna became The Bachelorette and also left a fan favorite runner-up heartbroken (we’ll get to that shortly), beginning the Golden Age of Bachelor(ette) Ratings.

2. Becca Kufrin

Arie and becca
It wasn’t just that Arie Luyendyk Jr. got engaged to Becca Kufrin on The Bachelor season finale, then broke it off within a matter of weeks. We’ve seen that many times before. It wasn’t even that he went back to Lauren Burnham, his season’s runner-up, in the wake of that broken engagement. Jason Mesnick (scroll down) pulled that one off too. But the way in which Arie ended things with Becca – blindsiding her with cameras rolling, and ABC airing the 40-minute scene uncut – nearly took the top spot on this list. Just savage. Fortunately for Becca, she got a second chance as The Bachelorette that very summer, and is still together with her final rose recipient Garrett Yrigoyen.

3. Jason Mesnick

Jason mesnick deanna pappas photo
DeAnna Pappas became The Bachelorette, as we said, and threw fans for a loop by rejecting beloved single father Jason Mesnick, who was so smitten with her, in favor of Jesse Csincsak … who she stayed engaged to for like two weeks. Jason was the most obvious pick for The Bachelor in history on the heels of this, but he generated some controversy himself.

4. Melissa Rycroft

Melissa rycroft and jason mesnick
Jason Mesnick upped the ante on both Brad and DeAnna in the finale night shocker department. After getting engaged to Melissa Rycroft on his season finale, he dumped her … on the After the Final Rose special, in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney! At least this one had a happy ending, though: Jason and Molly are happily married, to this day, and have a beautiful family together.

5. Madison Prewett

Madison prewett picture
Madison Prewett’s decision to self-eliminate on The Bachelor finale in 2020 was bizarre for many reasons. 1. She had already given Peter Weber an ultimatum about not having sex with the competition, which he clearly did. 2. She appared to be eliminating herself earlier this season, but showed up at the penultimate rose ceremony and received a rose instead of Victoria Fuller. 3. Peter’s family approved of this! They seemed 100% sold on Madison’s fellow finalist Hannah Ann Sluss, who is 100% sold on Peter … but despite the fact that Hannah Ann was the only one left after Madison’s departure, he’s not feeling it! Remind you of Arie, anyone? Peter sure did a number on her, not to mention …

6. Hannah Ann Sluss

Cuddling with hannah ann
Hannah Ann Sluss’ exit from the show was unlike anything in franchise history. She got engaged to Peter Weber on the finale, only to get dumped after the fact and lay out – live on After the Final Rose – all the reasons Pete strung her along, led her on, withheld critical information, only proposed to her so he didn’t have to let her go, robbed her of her first engagement, and most of all, failed to act like a real man. Just an epic performance by Hannah Ann, who conducted herself with the confidence and maturity you wouldn’t expect from a 23-year-old. Kudos to her.
