If you’ve ever wanted to achieve the body of Thor, Chris Hemsworth is offering a detailed look at his workouts.
The 40-year-old actor has brought the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s God of Thunder to life since his 2011 debut.
Like any star playing a superhero, Chris is renowned for his fit physique. In fact, it just trended for an unexpected reason thanks to Donald Trump.
Obviously, a lot of work goes into staying so toned. Chris clued fans in on what sort of work he does to keep up his fitness in a recent post on social media.

In late August, Chris hopped on Instagram to share a video of his “functional” routine and to explain what he’s doing differently in 2023.
“Doing a lot less heavy weight sessions lately and incorporating sprint work and more functional movements,” he wrote, adding that it was “a solid full body workout routine.”
He paired the note with a video that showed some of the various things he does during a workout. It started with a quick race against professional athlete Ross Edgley. Chris promised that he life his competition “in the dust.”
“Um well maybe, unfortunately the camera ran outta film so we’ll never know for certain,” he joked.
What else does he do? Chris‘ workout also includes ball slams, rope work, core work with a weighted ball, pushups and backward and forward bear crawls.
We’re tired just from watching, but he wanted fans to know that he’s “feeling good.”
Chris is one of many actors who has gone through a major weight transformation for a role.
