Coco Austin is distracting her followers from the coronavirus panic with some motherly love!

Captioning a snap of Chanel going to town on her right breast, the 40-year-old wrote:

“At a time when the world feels like its coming to an end.. suck up as much love as you can! I know the moms out there will appreciate this pic! Ive been getting alot of props in the breasfeeding community and get tons of emails from woman/moms appreciating me bringing light to the subject .. I write a baby blog about my journey with Chanel and soon I will write about what it’s like to continue boob time with a 4 year old.. I get tons and tons of requests that want me to speak on it!”

Coco went on to explain that she’s only still nursing her daughter “for comfort” at this point, adding:

“[B]elieve me the girl loves meat so its not like she isnt eating real food…”

The model ended her post with a note to her supporters, adding:

“Thank you to all that understand my view.. i see most of you are so eager to side with me and I too root for you in your journey as well.. Us moms are connected #breastfeedingforcomfort #weenwhentheyareready #toddlerbreastfeeding #boobtime #nursingmom #proudmama #teammommy”

Many fans showered Coco with praise and support, writing comments like:

“Yesssss 💪🏽🔥 it’s tough to nurse that long I did til age 3 with my first born”

“Yes coco!!! ❤️❤️ People need to be educated BUT even if they aren’t it’s none of their business regardless. That’s between you and her. My son is about to be 4 in a couple weeks and I have a 2.5 year old…both are still nursed 💕”

“It’s the least we can do to make their world a little bit more comforting!”

But she attracted plenty of critics, too. Some of her followers wrote:

“Im assuming this 4 year old still wears diapers too (disturbing)”

“A little weird at 4 years old”

“Yikes this is cray. Sorry coco”

For the past decade, the World Health Organization and UNICEF have recommended that mothers breastfeed for at least two years. But most American women who nurse stop before their baby is six months old, with others never starting at all.
