Cynthia Nixon is opening up about the possibility of fans seeing more of Kim Cattrall on And Just Like That.

It was revealed last month that Kim, 66, will be very briefly reprising her iconic role as Samantha Jones for a cameo during season two of the HBO series.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night (June 29), Cynthia, 57, was asked by a fan about the likelihood that Kim will have a larger role in a possible third season.

“I think very, very small,” Cynthia admitted. “It was a cameo, and I think it was a special treat for the 25th anniversary.”

Cynthia went on to admit that Kim‘s cameo in season two was supposed to be a surprise for fans, but unfortunately the news leaked.

“We tried so hard to keep it quiet. We’re really sorry it got out,” Cynthia said. “It would have been such a fun thing as you’re watching the episode and she just popped up.”

In a recent interview, Kim revealed the one big condition she had for HBO in order to make the cameo.
