Diddy is springin’ the pen sooner than we thought…
After being convicted of two counts of prostitution charges last year, the disgraced rapper was slammed with a 50-year prison sentence — which many believed was light considering everything he was accused of. And now, his June 4, 2028 release date has been pushed up!
On Monday, Page Six reported that the convicted criminal will now be released from prison on April 25, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

That’s more than a MONTH of prison time he won’t have to serve! So what gives?? In November, Diddy was accepted into a drug abuse and rehabilitation program, which a rep at the time claimed he was very serious about:
“Mr. Combs is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the start. He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change.”
Although that very same month, Diddy’s sentence was adjusted for the first after he allegedly violated multiple prison rules — including consuming homemade prison hooch and participating in a prohibited three-way phone call! Initially set for release on May 8, 2028, he was given that June 4 date as a result of his indiscretions.
Diddy’s new April 2028 prison release comes months after he filed to appeal his four-year sentence in December. His legal team demanded his immediate release, a reversal of his conviction, or a reduced sentence after claiming prosecutors failed to prove their case against him. Prosecutors responded months later opposing the request, but now here we are.
