Felicity Huffman is ready to serve her time.
As we reported, the Desperate Housewives actress reported to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California — nicknamed “Club Fed” — on Tuesday to begin her 14-day sentence after pleading guilty to mail fraud.

Despite the federal facility’s resemblance to a resort, the thespian — who bribed a test proctor $15,000 to redo her daughter’s SAT test — is expecting “no special treatment,” “will be in general population,” and “didn’t ask to be put in isolation.”
A source told Us Weekly on Tuesday:
“[She is] expecting no special treatment… This ordeal has upended her life and, frankly, career going forward. She just wanted to serve the sentence and move on.”
Additionally, William H. Macy‘s wife is not fearful about going to jail as she wants to use this experience to learn more about “prison justice reform.”
“Felicity wasn’t expressing any fears about going to prison because she is only going to be there a short time… She wants to take the short time there to learn as much as possible about how the other inmates ended up in prison. Prison justice reform is a very important cause for Felicity. She was interviewed for placement a few weeks ago.”
When she began her two-week term, her representative issued the following statement:
“Felicity Huffman reported today for sentencing to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA. Ms. Huffman is prepared to serve the term of imprisonment Judge Talwani ordered as one part of the punishment she imposed for Ms. Huffman’s actions. She will begin serving the remainder of the sentence Judge Talwani imposed — one year of supervised release, with conditions including 250 hours of community service — when she is released.”
Back in April, the 56-year-old not only announced plans to plead guilty, but took responsibility for her actions, “and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.” She penned:
“I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.”
She added:
“My daughter [Sophia] knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her. This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty.”
Macy and Huffman also share 17-year-old daughter, Georgia.
Thoughts on all this??
