Denise Richards is not happy about the devastating outcome of her latest court battle with Aaron Phypers!
Last week, a judge ordered The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum to pay her estranged husband $5,000 a month in temporary spousal support to cover his rent, car, food, and other miscellaneous expenses, as well as $30,000 in attorney fees. The legal contribution only applies to the divorce case — not his criminal defense. Aaron is currently facing four felony counts: two counts of injuring a spouse and two counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat.

It’s a massive loss for Denise. And sadly, she revealed in court that she can’t even afford to shell out that much money to the Quantum 360 founder. Her attorney, Mark Gross, pointed out that caring for her 14-year-old daughter, Eloise, who suffers from a rare chromosomal disorder resulting in developmental delays, is a “pretty extraordinary” cost. The Wild Things actress was also “blowing through everything” she made and had “nothing” invested while married to Aaron, who supposedly only has $200 to his name, between 2018 and 2025.
Her financial situation is so bad that she revealed she “could barely pay for [her] attorney,” and now they want her to give Aaron, her alleged abuser, a boatload of money to cover his living expenses and legal fees. Just awful. The ruling doesn’t seem fair and only adds to her already hefty plate — which is frustrating to Denise. One insider told RadarOnline on Monday:
“Denise feels blindsided. From her perspective, she has been carrying enormous financial and emotional strain, and this ruling adds another layer.”
Oof.
Another insider shared that Denise is really “furious” over the loss, especially as she feels what led to the divorce, meaning the alleged domestic violence, should’ve been considered more here:
“She is beyond furious — not just about the money, but about what she sees as the principle of it. Denise believes the circumstances of their separation should have weighed more heavily.”
At the moment, the financial burden is just too much for the Bravo personality. The source added:
“There is deep frustration that she now has to fund legal costs while also managing her own case and caring for her daughter. It feels untenable to her.”
